Cancellation Policy

Booking & Deposit A non-refundable retainer is required to secure all services and/or on-call periods. Bookings are confirmed only after payment is received and the signed agreement is on file. Cancellation & Refunds Prenatal/Postpartum Appointments: Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance may receive a partial or full refund, minus fees. Less than 7 days’ notice forfeits payment. Birth Packages/On-Call Support: Before 36 weeks—partial refund or credit (retainer non-refundable). After 36–38 weeks—non-refundable; credits at doula’s discretion. Rescheduling Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. Less than 24 hours’ notice may forfeit the session or be moved to virtual at discretion. No-Show & Late Arrivals No-shows forfeit the session and require pre-payment for future bookings. Arrivals 15+ minutes late may have sessions shortened or rescheduled at client’s expense. Labor/On-Call Support Includes up to 20 hours continuous support from active labor. Additional hours billed at $[Hourly Rate]. Backup doula arranged if primary cannot attend. Media & Photography Clause Media capture (non-medical) only with prior written consent. May be used for keepsakes, documentation, or—if separately agreed—educational/marketing. Consent may be revoked for future use; past use remains. Professional Boundaries & Ethics Services are non-medical. Interactions are confidential within legal limits. PHI is never stored on non-HIPAA platforms; secure methods used for sensitive data.
