Is this “Medi-Cal approved”?
Our curriculum aligns with DHCS topics and documentation practices. You’ll receive a certificate of completion (hours/topics listed) you can include with your doula enrollment steps. Official state endorsement isn’t required to enroll as a doula; follow DHCS guidance for PAVE, NPI, CPR/HIPAA, and training/experience documentation.
Will this help me get paid by plans?
Yes—through clarity. We teach clean-claim practices and plan navigation. Payment depends on your enrollment/contracting and submitting accurate claims per DHCS/MCP rules.
Do I need prior experience?
No experience required. Bring a good heart and a notebook—we’ll bring the structure, scripts, and steady guidance.
What if life gets busy?
Go self-paced anytime. If you chose Pro, live Q&As are recorded so you can watch on your schedule.
Is the course clinical?
No. Doulas are non-clinical: we provide support, education, navigation, and referrals—not diagnoses or procedures.
Is this really lifetime if the plan says 10 years?
Yes. Our platform provider currently caps the display at 10 years. Your access is lifetime: we auto-extend your plan before any date ever hits, at no cost to you.
