Why Stories Still Matter (Even in a 15-Second Attention Span World)

We live in a world where people swipe left on entire human beings in less time than it takes to sneeze.
Where thoughts are compressed into hashtags, feelings are filtered, and attention is measured in milliseconds.
And yet…
Stories still hold power.
Maybe now more than ever.
At All Good Things N More, we believe stories aren’t just entertainment.
They’re the soul food of humanity.
Stories teach when lectures fail.
Stories heal when logic falls short.
Stories whisper to the parts of us that the world has tried to silence — the dreaming parts, the daring parts, the childlike parts.
Here’s the ancient truth the world forgot (but we didn’t):
You don’t grow a strong mind without feeding it stories.
You don’t grow a brave heart without hearing tales of courage.
You don’t grow roots without knowing where you come from.
This is why we tell stories.
This is why we write books for kids that mean something.
This is why we refuse to accept that fast is better, louder is stronger, or newer is wiser.
Stories are ancient technology.
And guess what?
They still work better than Wi-Fi.
So slow down.
Sit down.
Crack open a book.
Tell your children the stories that shaped you.
Write new ones together.
Because when everything else changes —
Stories remain.
And through them, so do we.
