Guided by Grace — Medi-Cal Aligned (AGTNM) is a comprehensive, practical training program designed for working doulas who wish to align their practice with Medi-Cal requirements and the AGTNM family-centered model. This self-paced course covers every essential aspect of doula work, from scope of practice and ethics to telehealth coordination and integrated safety scenarios. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of documentation, privacy, and professional standards, ensuring compliance and best practices in every client interaction. The curriculum is structured into ten focused sections, each addressing a critical area of doula care. Topics include trauma-informed communication, language access, prenatal and birth support, early postpartum and lactation guidance, hospital navigation, advocacy, and mental health support. Through a blend of articles, demonstration videos, and scenario-based quizzes, learners will develop the skills needed to provide evidence-based, culturally humble, and family-centered support.
